Description
Gliding circular or ovoid cell, usually flattened, with proboscis, the single (hairy) flagellum occasionally emerging at the base of the proboscis (Fig . 4). Move by gliding involving the secretion of mucus. Phagotrophic and marine, described from Antarctic waters. Two species , type species C. esposianum Thomsen & Larsen , 1 993 .
