Description

Test usually solid, often fragile and varying in form from plate -like to lumpy, branched or reticulate . External xenophyae arranged in surface layer; occasionally test consists of a stack of layers . There is very little cement. Fragmentary specimens , largest specimen 6.5 mm long (after Tendal , 1972, new print) . Scale= IO mm . CLASS XENOPHYOPHOREA from eastern Pacific. Scale=IO mm.
