Description

With an ovoid cell body ('head ') from which radiate axopodia. The head attaches to the substrate by a contractile stalk which arises from an extensive amoeboid and multinucleated base. Surface naked. The axoplast occupies the center of the head. Monotypic; marine. Reference : Febvre- Chevalier (1980). ....... 2 sm a Chevalier et al. , 1986) .
