Description
Cells are ellipsoid with a slightly pointed anterior; a furrow is lacking , the tubular gullet subtending DA 1 1 21 the posterior margin of the vestibulum , extending to approximately the middle of the cell and lined with four rows of ejectisomes; the periplast has an inner sheet and an outer component of a thick mat of coarse fibrils. The periplastidial compartment contains a single , lobed chloroplast, a pyrenoid and a nucleomorph located in an anterior groove or depression in the pyrenoid.
