Description
(Lankester, 1895) Labbe , 1896 Spores have the same general shape and structure as species of Haplosporidium. They range in size from 2.1-9 X 3.0-13 1-Jm. Solid filaments ( 2 0- 83 nm diameter), cylindrical filaments ( 3 2- 1 3 5 nm diameter) comprised of a coiled ribbon or microtubule-like units (ca. 290 nm diameter) are formed in the epispore cytoplasm (Figs. 6,9).
