Description

Napolitano , Wall & Ganz, 1970 (Fig . 6) Monospecific vahlkampfiid genus, with cyst, amoeboid , and flagellated stages. Flagellate about 10-20 1-Jm long , 2 anterior flagella insering apically , with circular cytostome adjacent to flagellar insertion , feeds on bacteria . Cysts without pores , and no gelatinous sheath . Found in soil.
