Description
Vahlkampfiid with amoeba, cyst , and biflagellated stage resembl ing the flagellate stage of Naegleria , the genus being distinguished by lack of excystment pores in cyst wall and by the presence of a mucus sheath around the cyst. Monotypic genus found i n soil. SEA 11 0 7 (B) cyst (after Singh). Bar=1 0 iJm .
